Professionalism and advancement of leadership skills is engineered by Academic Leadership and Professional Development (ALPD). ALPD is a combination of Academic Leadership & Competency Development and Professional Development which aims at refining the academicians’ career path and leadership proficiency.

OBJECTIVES

• To assist University to inculcate and nurture academic leadership skills in Higher Education among academic staff
• To assist University to:
  • increase the number of Graduate Faculties
  • increase the number of academic staff with professional qualifications
  • narrow the theory-practice gap among academic staff
• To assist University to plan and deliver an effective talent pool and succession plan for academic leaders
• To provide effective learning and development programmes for Higher Education Academic Leadership;
