NALI is an annual knowledge sharing event organised by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), through Center for Advancement in Digital and Flexible Learning (UTM CDex). NALI also stands for New Academia Learning Innovation, a framework to promote innovative teaching and learning practices in education. Pre NALI Workshop
Join us on October 1, 2024, for the Pre NALI 2024 workshops, a precursor to the New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI) 2024 event. This year’s theme, “Empowering Teaching & Research Connection through Innovation,” focuses on innovative approaches to integrating research into teaching. Highlights include workshops on research-integrated pedagogies, technology-enhanced collaboration, data-driven teaching, fostering creativity in research, building sustainable research networks, and ethical considerations. These sessions are designed for educators, researchers, and academic leaders to gain practical insights, network with peers, and stay at the forefront of educational and research advancements.

NALI 2024 Keynote
Prof Christine Goh is President’s Chair Professor of Education (Linguistics & Language Education). She served for six years (2018 -2024) as the Director of the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She obtained her PhD in Linguistics at Lancaster University and studied for her MA in Applied English Linguistics at the University of Birmingham on the UK Government’s Chevening Scholarship. She received her BA (Hons) in English and Diploma in Education from the University of Malaya and is an alumna of the SEAMEO Regional Language Centre.
